Macon County Republican Party (MCRP) strives to improve our community by supporting qualified individuals who seek elected office in the Republican Primary and in the General Election. Our goal is to elect individuals who are honest, and capable of implementing constitution principles and common-sense policies to govern our local, state and national affairs.
We work with local and state government to ensure the integrity of our election. Our local election process is compliant with state and federal regulations. It is fair and just to all voters.
Macon County Republican Party (MCRP) has developed a local candidate committee to encourage and assist local candidates in their quest for public service within our community. MCRP is also involved with the Georgia Black Republican Committee which provides local candidate training opportunities.
Macon County is part of the 2nd Congressional District. Macon County Republican Party (MCRP) is represented in monthly district meetings. In addition, MCRP was able to select delegates and alternates to attend the 2nd Congressional Convention held in 2023. These individuals participated in the election of the new State GOP Chair and a slate of State GOP officers.
